Certificates - Your passport to a career
TATC is responsible for providing programs and courses that result in appropriate licensing, certification, or skill training to qualify students for specific employment in business and industry in Tooele county and the surrounding area.
TATC offers long-term and short-term certificate training. In order for students to present their training to potential employers, the TATC provides a Certificate of Proficiency which lists the competencies the student has achieved on the back of the certificate. Employers will be able to see exactly what training the student completed.
Students who complete Certificates of Proficiency programs 900 hours or more are also eligible for 30 credit hours with Utah State University. Click the link for more information on how TATC programs transfer or articulate to USU.
